Finance Division

The Finance Division is responsible for managing the County’s financial operations and ensuring the responsible use of public funds. The division supports all County departments by overseeing budgeting, capital asset replacement, accounts payable, and accounts receivable functions.
  • Budgeting: The Finance Division prepares and monitors the County’s annual budget, working with departments and elected officials to plan for current and future financial needs while maintaining fiscal responsibility.
  • Capital Asset Replacement: The division tracks and manages the County’s capital assets, coordinating the replacement of vehicles, equipment, and other long-term assets to keep operations efficient and up to date.
  • Accounts Payable: Staff process vendor payments and ensure that all invoices are properly reviewed, approved, and paid according to County policies and state regulations. The division also maintains vendor records and manages year-end 1099 reporting.
  • Accounts Receivable: The Finance Division reviews the revenues owed to the County, ensuring funds are recorded accurately.
  • Through these responsibilities, the Finance Division helps maintain transparency, accountability, and financial stability for the County and its residents.
